How to Write and Achieve Your Business Vision.

There is an old saying. “If your destination is unknown, how will you get there?” A business vision describes where the business is going, its destination. It is critical to business success. A business vision statement is the public expression of that destination for all stakeholders. How to write it is one thing. How to achieve it is the real challenge!

Wikipaedia states that a vision statement is an inspirational statement of an idealistic emotional future of a company or group. Vision describes the basic human emotion that a founder intends to be experienced by the people the organization interacts with. It grounds the group so it can actualize some existential impact on the world.

In his contribution to Business News Daily, Sean Peek lists these eight points to consider writing a vision statement to capture the uniqueness of your business, and its destination:

  • Project five to 10 years in the future.
  • Dream big and focus on success.
  • Use the present tense.
  • Use clear, concise, jargon-free language.
  • Infuse it with passion and make it inspiring.
  • Align it with your business values and goals.
  • Create a plan to communicate your vision statement to your employees.
  • Prepare to commit time and resources to the vision you establish.

These are all excellent points. Once written, how do we make the statement reality? Vision statements can gather dust. Meanwhile, the company is going under, or stuck in mediocrity. How do we make our hopes and dreams come true? How do we create success?

This is my Number One Guaranteed, Must-do Strategy to go from dreams to vision to amazing success: Be as if your vision is reality now!

Why does this strategy work? It automatically wires your brain so that you become the very person required to bring your vision to reality—and wiring your brain for success can only take place in the present.

If you wait for success to happen, wish for success to happen, think you deserve it to happen, or think that it will just fall out of the sky into your brain at some future date, it will not happen. Act if the future was here now. This does not mean tomorrow, next year, or in five years’ time. It means NOW!

Your negative thought processes and emotions are hard-wired. Weaken them by letting them be. Create new and inspiring positive thoughts and emotions to replace them. That takes time!

Your positive thought processes and emotions are also hard-wired. The only way to strengthen them is to create super-strengths. That takes time too!

If you do not change, life will trundle along. Only you know what that is like. Chaos can reign! I know—I have been there. It was heart-breaking!

If you do not change now, you cannot lead the other people in your life properly and appropriately to help you achieve your vision. By definition, you will not achieve your vision. YOU come first. People will not change serendipitously just to suit you. My lack of leadership lasted for eight long years. It was a disaster.

How much time do you need? How much time have you got? I do not know. Neither do you.

Does this all seem too hard?

Our weaknesses, negative or self-limiting mindsets, thought patterns, beliefs, behaviors, attitudes, anxieties, fears, and (even for some) obsessions or addictions are all hard-wired—so much so that we cannot even recognize them for what they are.

They are an integral part of us, of who we are now—the product of our genetics and our environment, everything that has happened to us in our day-to-day lives until NOW. They are both conscious and subconscious, influencing and controlling, prodding, poking, and seducing us to take the actions we take now to get the results we get now.

Remember this: Other people have created a life of wealth, with the freedom to do what they want to do, and with real and enduring happiness, too. Wired for success, they have built a business life of purpose, passion, and amazing success by the way they think, the way they feel, and the way they see their world.

It is so exciting to create the business life of your dreams so you can live a life you love. It easily beats mediocrity or failure!

So be as if your vision is reality now!

Doing so will slowly program your mind with the required beliefs, behaviors, attitudes, and actions required to turn your vision into the future you desire, deserve, and dream of.

How did create the business life of my dreams? How did I unleash my potential?

When I purchased my business for over a quarter of a million dollars, I soon discovered it was making a loss. With no training in business management, I plunged on, but eight years later I was over one million dollars in debt. It nearly killed me—crippling anxiety, mind-numbing insomnia, even a near death experience!

Then my big breakthrough: I discovered how to use neuroscience and positive psychology to wire my brain for success. When I applied this little-known science to my business, it totally changed everything: happy clients, a highly motivated team, a 712% jump in profits! I created the business life of my dreams, and it totally transformed my life—to one of calmness, confidence and a love of living!

Discover how I did it. If like me, you want to wire your brain for success, take my on-line course Get Wired for Success! The amazing results you experience will be life-changing and lifelong. Guaranteed!
